David addresses the Libel Reform campaign in Parliament

David spoke at a meeting of the Libel Reform Campaign in Parliament. 

Sharing the platform with the campaigns supporters including Professor Briain Cox, comedians Dara O Briain and Dave Gorman, organisations who support the campaign, and the three founding charities of the campaign Sense About Science, English PEN and Index on Censorship, David called for MPs to continue to support the Defamation Bill to ensure that the “chilling effect” on scientific journalism is halted and freedom of speech persists.

David joined the meeting in handing over a petition of 60,000 signatures to the Prime Ministers office.
