Sir David Davis congratulates local football clubs on grant awards

David Davis MP has congratulated North Ferriby United and Hall Road Rangers FC on securing three grants, totalling £21,425, from the Football Foundation.

The Haltemprice and Howden MP, pictured, said it was fantastic news for both clubs.

He said: “North Ferriby United are already doing extremely well. Their promotion to the Conference North league at the end of the 2012-13 season and their extremely impressive second place finish in April this year, show the team is going from strength to strength.

“The money awarded will help improve their pitch.

“The funding for Hall Road Rangers FC will help them build a strong platform on which they can grow. They will benefit greatly from this grant, which will provide the club with new goalposts and nets.”
