Sir David Davis welcomes the awarding of a grant to Little Weighton Village Hall

Today it was announced that Little Weighton Village Hall are to be awarded a grant worth £499,734 from the Big Lottery Fund.

Responding to the announcement, Sir David Davis said:

“This is excellent news for the residents of Little Weighton.

Little Weighton Village Hall has been a focal point for the community for over 110 years, but the building has been requiring modernisation for some time now.

This grant will allow for the hall to be refurbished, extended and will improve access to the facility.

The renovations to the Village Hall will secure the long-term future of this vital asset and will ensure it can be used by the community for generations to come.”
