David Davis says that the Dunswell Primary School decision is “excellent news”

MP David Davis is “thrilled” Dunswell Primary has been saved from closure.
The 88-pupil village school was facing a closure recommendation at Tuesday’s meeting of East Riding Council’s cabinet.
But the school will now be taken under the wing of Swanland Primary School Academy Trust following Government approval.
Haltemprice and Howden MP Mr Davis said: “The decision to adopt Dunswell Primary School into the Swanland multi-academy trust is excellent news.
“Not only has a very good school been saved from closure but the children of Swanland are guaranteed a secure educational future.”
